anything to FINE in Singapore

Have you read the latest:- ————————————————————— Subject: Fw: Note you can get fined $130 for dropping someone off at or near the busstop. JUST FOR YOUR INFO…. TO ALL DRIVERS…. Take Heed…you can get fined $130 for dropping someone off at or near the bus stop….you only realise how painful it is when you have to pay for it

LTA has contracted six traffic wardens from a private company at $34,000 a year to take down the licence platenumber, make and colour of vehicles that intrude into bus lanes at peak hours. (They are incognito with camera in hands……so don’t expect to see a TP, etc)

Note you can get fined $130 for dropping someone off at or near the bus stop.

LTA has intensified their operations at the following areas: 1) Eunos Link 2) Hougang Ave 3 3) Jurong Town Hall Rd 4) Lorong Chuan 5) Orchard Rd 6) Upper Serangoon Rd 7) Upper Thomson Rd 8) Yishun Ave 2 ———————————————————–

And the bus lanes extended to 8pm isn’t it ? alright just yesterday when we were driving along Bugis, this IDOTIC bus REFUSED to use the EMPTY bus lanes and were traveling on the 3rd lane instead blocking and hogging the cars that weren’t able to travel on the 1st Bus lanes!

– So the cars owners pay the road taxes – and get restricted for using certain lanes, – get fines for using bus lanes, – gets TAX on ERP going to town or work on top of the road taxes like at least S$6 per trip, – gets TAX on ERP for wanting to go home early too.

And these buses drive on car lanes when the cars have already so limited lanes to drive on their own payable road?

Everything fine, TAXES, $$$ on private vehicles, maybe should give us one lane to drive on better?

And these buses are ok?
